About me
I'm Héctor Rubio, online voice over artist and voice actor since 2011.
I started my career as a voice actor for pure love of the art. I have always enjoyed entertaining others and that's why I decided to dedicate myself fully to this. Since then I have appeared on both the small and big screen, striving to cultivate my skills with every opportunity.
From my home studio I will record your projects in professional quality and in a very short time.
Count on me if you need a medium voice, for ages 25 to 60, with good diction and interpretative skills; ranging from corporate and natural tones, to animated characters for event voiceovers, advertising, audiobooks and other multimedia channels.
I currently live and work in Barcelona. I collaborate with several studios and I am registered in international voice banks in Catalan and Spanish. I'm an associate of La General de Locutores and I'm a certified speaker in Catalan for the CCMA (Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals) since 2012.

2009-2011
Dubbing
Escola Catalana de Doblatge (ECAD)
I started in the world of dubbing in a two-year course and with master classes with renowned actors and directors such as Pep Anton Muñoz, Belén Roca, Gemma Ibáñez, Joan Pera, Luis Posada, Albert Trifol, Pepa Arenós, David Corsellas or Jordi Royo, Voice Craft classes with Helen Rowson and rhythm with Nan Mercader.
2011-2012
Further training
I took advanced lessons at the Sonigraf (VSI) studios in Barcelona and attended dubbing sessions as a listener, while I started my first steps in the world of professional voice-over for e-learnings and corporate videos.
2015-2020
Interpretation and consolidation
Audiobooks
I took acting and theatrical improvisation classes at Escuela Nancy Tuñon, and synchrony and dubbing oriented acting classes at All That Jazz and Sonygraf.
I started in the growing discipline of audiobook narration, attending the annual advanced level course at ECAD with directors and narrators of recognized prestige and doing some internships at MIUT studios in Barcelona.
